
Jammu, March 11 Northern Army Commander, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, visited the headquarters of the White Knights Corps in Nagrota (Jammu) and the Chinar Corps in Srinagar on Wednesday to review the operational and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
During his visit, he called upon the troops to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of the people while maintaining the highest standards of operational readiness.
"Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Commander, Northern Command, visited Srinagar and Nagrota to conduct a comprehensive review of the operational and security situation," the Northern Command headquarters said in a post on X.
During the visit, the Army commander interacted with formation commanders and held detailed discussions on the evolving security dynamics in the region.
He also reviewed strategies aimed at strengthening multi-domain surveillance, enhancing real-time intelligence integration, and maintaining vigilance along the borders and hinterland, the Army said.
Emphasis was placed on synergy among security agencies to sustain peace, stability, and normalcy across Jammu and Kashmir.
