April 10, New Delhi: More than 5.72 lakh households have availed the Self-Enumeration facility under the 2027 Census, reflecting increasing participation in the digital initiative.
The online facility, part of Phase 1 covering house listing and housing census, is currently being implemented in select states and union territories. Officials say the initiative offers a faster and more convenient way for citizens to contribute, as more households are opting for digital self-enumeration through the official portal.
