The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, in collaboration with the States and UTs, the Senior Citizen cell of the Delhi Police, the National Institute for Social Defence, the Anugraha-Regional Resource Training Centre, and the Brahma Kumaris, will facilitate the visit. The Ministry stated that the visit is being organized with the objective of providing senior citizens the opportunity to experience the beauty of Amrit Udyan and to encourage their participation in social and recreational activities.
The Ministry has made necessary logistical arrangements, including transportation and support, to ensure the smooth conduct of the visit. During the visit, senior citizens will have the opportunity to see various sections of Amrit Udyan, which is known for its landscaped lawns, seasonal flowers, and diverse horticultural displays. This initiative reflects the Government's continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of senior citizens and to promoting their active participation in social and community life.
