
New Delhi, March 20 Filmmaker Mani Ratnam's production banner, Madras Talkies, announced on Friday that A.R. Rahman will be the music composer for Ratnam's upcoming film, which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi.
Ratnam and Rahman have a long history of collaborations. The duo have worked together on projects such as "Roja", "Kaatru Veliyidai", "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam", "OK Kanmani", "Raavanan", "Ponniyin Selvan" (1 and 2), and "Thug Life", among others.
The banner shared the news on its official Instagram handle, which featured the poster with the details written on it.

More details about the project are being kept under wraps by the makers.
The untitled film will mark the first collaboration for Sethupathi and Pallavi. It also reunites the filmmaker with Sethupathi after their 2018 Tamil film "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam", where the actor played the role of a police officer.
For Pallavi, it will be her first collaboration with the filmmaker.
The film is produced by Lyca Productions alongside Madras Talkies.
