New Delhi, April 5 A 50-year-old grocery shop owner was killed, while two others were injured after a clash with his neighbors in the Shakurpur area of northwest Delhi, police said on Sunday.

The police have registered a case at the Subhash Place police station and have detained three people, they said.

The incident took place at Sanjay Park on the night of April 4, following a dispute between the shopkeeper, identified as Rajkumar, and his neighbors, an officer said.

"During the altercation, the accused attacked the victims using sticks, iron rods, and knives, leaving them with multiple stab wounds," she said.

They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Rajkumar was pronounced dead, while the injured, identified as Sumit Gupta (25), son of the deceased, and Kishan Gupta (45), are being treated, police said.

Meanwhile, three accused, identified as Sumit alias Summa, Ashish alias Ashu, and Chetan, have been detained by the police. All three accused are between 25 and 30 years old, police said.

Police said that Sumit also suffered injuries during the clash and is currently admitted to a hospital.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
