“She Leads Bharat” Walk Kicks Off International Women's Day in Delhi.webp

March 08, New Delhi – The Ministry of Women and Child Development organized the women-led "Shakti Walk" titled "She Leads Bharat" today, along Kartavya Path in New Delhi, as part of International Women's Day celebrations.

The program included introductory remarks by the host, the national song "Vande Mataram," and addresses by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi, and Union Minister for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman. The walk began this morning from India Gate to Vijay Chowk, covering approximately two kilometers. This symbolic march celebrated women's leadership and contributions towards a developed India.
