New Delhi, March 7 – Divyansh Singh Panwar and Khyati Chaudhary secured the top positions in the men's and women's 10m Air Rifle events at the National Selection Trials 3 (Group A), held at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in the National Capital Region (NCR). Olympian Anish Bhanwala won the T3 final of the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event.

In the men's 10m Air Rifle finals, Divyansh finished first with a score of 252.5, followed by Parth Rakesh Mane with 251.5, and Shahu Tushar Mane with 230.9.

In the women's finals, Khyati prevailed over Mahit Sandhu after both athletes were tied at 251.4 after 24 shots. Khyati scored 10.9 to secure first place, while Mahit scored 10.2. Mehuli Ghosh finished third with a score of 230.1.

Earlier, in the men's qualification, Dhanush Srikanth qualified for the finals in first place with a score of 633.2, followed by Mahesh Babu Bathula with 632.6. Himanshu Dhillon and Niraj Kumar scored 632.1 to qualify in third and fourth places, respectively. Divyansh, Parth Mane, and Shahu qualified in the next three spots after scoring 631.8, 630.6, and 630.4, respectively. Kiran Ankush Jadhav completed the top eight with a score of 630.3.

Mehuli Ghosh qualified in first place with a score of 633.4, followed by Sonam Uttam Maskar with 633.2 in the women's event. Tilottama Sen qualified in third place with a score of 632.0, followed by Khyati and Mahit with scores of 630.7 and 629.7, respectively. Vidarsa K. Vinod, Sakshi Sunil Padekar, and Isha Anil Taksale completed the top eight with scores of 629.4, 629.3, and 629.1, respectively.

Olympian Anish Bhanwala continued his dominance in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event, securing first place in the T3 final with a score of 33. Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu came in second with 31, while Bhavesh Shekhawat won the third spot after a shoot-off with Vijayveer Sidhu, scoring 29. Vijayveer finished fourth with 23 hits.

Bhavesh, who led after the first stage of qualification, qualified in first place with a combined score of 583-17x, followed by Rajkanwar with 581-20x. Adarsh Singh qualified in third place with a score of 580-15x, and Anish scored 578-15x. Neeraj Kumar (576-16x), Vijayveer (576-15x), Omkar Singh (575-18x), and Pradeep Singh Shekhawat (575-15x) completed the top eight.
