New Delhi, April 4 Police said a notorious criminal with several murder and burglary cases against him was arrested after a brief shootout with police here, official sources said on Saturday.
Mohammad Salim, also known as "Ganja," opened fire at a team of the Special Task Force (STF), prompting a retaliatory action, they said.
He was subdued and apprehended. Salim has nearly 75 cases against him, including those for murder, attempted murder, and theft. Further investigation is underway, police added.
