
Indian archer Shyam Sunder Swami won a bronze medal in the men's compound individual event at the World Archery Para Series in Bangkok. Swami defeated his fellow Indian archer and Paris Paralympics bronze medallist, Rakesh Kumar, in a tie-break after both were tied at 143 points. Rakesh Kumar finished fourth after losing the bronze medal match to Swami. Anjum Tanwar also finished fourth in the women's individual event, losing her bronze medal match. The Bangkok event followed the Asia Cup first leg, which was held recently at the same venue, where India delivered a strong performance, winning 10 medals, including two gold and four silver.
