Kolkata, March 13 Some EMU local trains were delayed by approximately 30 minutes on Friday due to a signal malfunction at the Belghoria station in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, according to an official.
Train movement was operational on two of the four lines at Belghoria within the Eastern Railway's Sealdah main division, he stated.
The signalling issue, which caused the delay of some suburban trains during the morning rush hour, was resolved within 30 minutes, the Eastern Railway official said.
Normal services resumed according to the schedule, he added.
