
Jammu, March 2: The opening match of the Sikh Cricket Premier League (SCPL) was inaugurated by Sat Sharma, Member of Parliament and BJP State President, who was the Chief Guest.
The event was attended by community leaders and party representatives, including Vikram Randhawa, along with members of the Sikh Coordination Committee.
Addressing the gathering, the organizers encouraged youth participation in sports and urged them to avoid drug abuse. Sat Sharma congratulated the players and praised the organizers for promoting sports and youth engagement.
During an interaction with DD News Jammu, Vikram Randhawa highlighted the role of sports in character-building and social unity, reaffirming the government's commitment to strengthening sports infrastructure and supporting young talent.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment to youth empowerment and community development through sports.
