New Delhi, March 10 Silver prices rose by 3.91 per cent to Rs 2,77,602 per kg in futures trading on Tuesday, amid global uncertainties.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the silver for May delivery increased by Rs 10,442, or 3.91 per cent, to Rs 2,77,602 per kilogram in a trading volume of 2,300 lots.

Analysts said that increased positions taken by participants led to the rise in silver prices.

In the overseas market, Comex silver futures increased by USD 2.39, or 2.07 per cent, to USD 89.03 per ounce.
