April 11, New Delhi – Jannik Sinner advanced to the semi-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters with a straight-sets victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The Italian defeated the Canadian 6-3, 6-4, extending his winning streak at Masters 1000 events to 20 matches.
Sinner dominated the first set, conceding just seven points on serve. He maintained control in the second set to secure his fifth consecutive victory over Auger-Aliassime.
He will next face Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals after the German edged past Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca.
Sinner, currently ranked world number two, has yet to win a Masters title on clay but will start as a strong favourite. He remains on track for a potential first meeting of the year with Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
