Six-year-old girl killed in road accident in Srinagar
A six-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in the Rambagh area of Srinagar, officials said.
Srinagar, February 27: A six-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in the Rambagh area of Srinagar on Friday, officials said.
The minor, identified as Ayat, daughter of Imtiyaz Ahmad and a resident of Dayalgam in Anantnag district, sustained critical injuries in the accident.
She was immediately taken to SMHS Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated proceedings to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The tragic incident has caused grief in the girl's native village and among her relatives.
