The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, organized an Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Sunderbani in the Rajouri district.

The programme focused on raising awareness about key flagship initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the National Livestock Mission, and the VB-G RAM G Act 2025. The initiative aimed to educate youth, farmers, and local residents about opportunities related to skill development, livelihood generation, and livestock-based economic growth.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunderbani, Ramkesh Sharma, who was the chief guest, highlighted how these schemes can empower rural communities by enhancing employability, encouraging entrepreneurship, and strengthening agriculture and related sectors.

Experts from the Sheep Husbandry Department and the Rural Development Department provided detailed information on eligibility criteria, benefits, and application procedures. Participants actively engaged in interactive sessions, raising questions about training, financial assistance, and departmental support services.

A cultural programme featuring local artists added vibrancy to the event, effectively conveying messages of development and community participation.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from students, youth, and farmers, reflecting growing interest in government initiatives promoting inclusive growth and self-reliance in the region.
