JAMMU, February 17: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd is laying underground power cables throughout Jammu, which will enhance the city's appearance and improve power reliability. Gurpal Singh, Managing Director of the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), stated that underground wiring will reduce power outages caused by storms, tree branches, and rain, lower maintenance costs, minimize electrical hazards, and provide a continuous power supply, benefiting residents while also beautifying the city.
