The Sikkim Tourism Department, along with Project Swastik, is closely monitoring the situation and ensuring that routes remain safe, well-managed, and accessible for travellers, they said.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued an alert on Saturday for potential avalanches in the high-altitude areas of Sikkim over the next 24 hours.
