
A three-month solar technician training program has been launched by the Department of Employment, Rajouri, in collaboration with ITI Rajouri, to promote self-employment and skill development among educated, unemployed youth.
The course includes training in solar panel manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and fault repair, combining practical and theoretical learning. Upon completion, trainees will receive a certificate or diploma, along with a ₹3,000 DBT incentive, and will also be connected to the Mission YUVA to access loans for starting their own solar businesses.
