
February 18, New Delhi – Heads of State continue to arrive in New Delhi to attend the India-AI Impact Summit.
The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, arrived in Delhi this morning. The visit of the Spanish leader will further boost the ongoing celebrations of the India-Spain Dual Year of Culture, Tourism, and AI.
Ebba Busch, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Business, and Industry of Sweden, also arrived in New Delhi this morning. The India-Sweden relationship encompasses a wide range of cooperation, including trade, economy, science, innovation, climate action, and education, among others.
Earlier, Petteri Orpo, the Prime Minister of Finland, also arrived in New Delhi this morning. This visit will further strengthen the diverse bilateral partnership, with a focus on digital and AI, sustainability, and education sectors.
Earlier, on Tuesday night, David Lammy, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, arrived at Delhi airport. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Lammy's visit will strengthen the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with a strong focus on trusted, inclusive, and responsible Artificial Intelligence as a driver of innovation, growth, and shared prosperity.
World leaders from Serbia, Sri Lanka, Guyana, and Bolivia are already in New Delhi for the summit.
