MAIRA MANDRIAN, March 29: Minister Satish Sharma attended the annual sports day at PM Shri NB/Sub Bansi Lal Government High School, emphasizing the importance of sports in youth development and nation building.
The event saw active participation from students, teachers, and the local community. Chief Education Officer Ajeet Sharma and other officials were present.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister stated that sports play a vital role in positively channeling youth energy and reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening sports infrastructure, promoting youth engagement, and nurturing talent from grassroots to higher levels.
He urged students to balance academics with physical activity and emphasized discipline and healthy living. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, and the Minister also laid the foundation stone for several local development projects.
