
New Delhi, February 20 Copper futures rose by Rs 5.45 to Rs 1,192.50 per kg on Friday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 5.45, or 0.46 percent, to Rs 1,192.50 per kilogram in a trading volume of 2,526 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
