March 19, New Delhi – Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met visiting US Special Representative for South and Central Asia and Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo today.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Sri Lanka. The President also briefed the US delegation on Colombo's position on the ongoing Middle East conflict and its economic and security implications for the island nation.

Senior Sri Lankan officials, including key economic and administrative advisors, attended the meeting alongside members of the US delegation.
