
On the sacred Medin Poya Day, a unique exhibition celebrating the Buddha's message of peace and compassion was held at the Sri Sunethrarama Temple in Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, organized by the Indian High Commission.
As part of a series of exhibitions organized by the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, "Buddham Sharanam Gacchami" – a mobile exhibition – was held at the Sunethrarama Temple in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, highlighting the deep Buddhist connection between India and Sri Lanka through visuals and stories from the Buddha's life.
Sinhala translations of Jataka comic books were also distributed to young devotees, promoting Buddhist values in an engaging manner. The exhibition serves as a symbol of the enduring friendship between India and Sri Lanka, united by the timeless teachings of the Buddha.
