Tirupati, March 31 Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer visited the Sri Venkateswara temple here on Tuesday, accompanied by his family members.
The temple priests gave him a traditional welcome and performed religious rituals, according to a press release from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
"Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer visited Tirumala on Tuesday and performed darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family members," the press release stated.
Following the darshan, Vedic scholars offered Vedasirvachanam to the Governor at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.
TTD officials presented him with Theertha Prasadams and a portrait of Sri Venkateswara, the press release added.
