₹5 crore worth of drugs seized in Sribhumi; two arrested
The Assam Police have continued their crackdown on illegal drugs. Acting on a tip-off, the Patharkandi Police conducted a raid at Kabir Uddin's residence in Eraligool, Sribhumi.
The drugs seized during the operation are estimated to be worth around ₹5 crore in the black market. The main accused, Kabir Uddin, managed to escape, but police have arrested two individuals – Rehena Begum and Enjamal Haque. Further interrogation is ongoing.
