Mumbai, March 24 Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, who was last seen in ‘War 2’, recently had a conversation with actor Ryan Gosling. He suggested to the Hollywood star that they should spend time together with the alien characters of Rocky and Jaadu.

The actor spoke during the promotion of Ryan Gosling's upcoming film ‘Project Hail Mary’, praising the film which is adapted for the screen from the eponymous novel by Andy Weir.

During the conversation, Hrithik told Ryan, “You have Rocky, and I have Jaadu. We'll hang out at Churchgate in Bandra. That sounds great. By the way, I just met Rocky. I met him, and I taught him some of our Indian traditions. On behalf of all your fans here in India, namaste, and we are really looking forward to your film. Thank you so much. I hear you've read the book. Oh my god, I read the book, and it's incredible.”

He further added, “I actually read the book and then I saw the trailer. Then I posted about it on Instagram, and I said that it's the best sci-fi book I've ever read. The movie needs to live up to it. That was the second thing I said. No pressure. The third thing I said was that Ryan acts and embodies the role incredibly well.”

Hrithik then spoke about a scene from ‘Project Hail Mary’ that had resonated with him. He shared, “There is this one scene where they're forcing you to go to space, and you just don't want to go. On the page, it's said that he cries, and I was thinking as an actor, how would I play that? Would I actually cry, or would I suppress it? What's the sweet spot? I was wondering, did you have any thoughts while approaching that scene?”

Responding to this, Ryan said, “You know, it was interesting that it was one of the last scenes we shot, and it took five years to make the film. And I was alone on camera for about 100 days. It was one of the most difficult films I've ever made, and probably will ever make. It took a bigger toll on me than any other movie I've ever done.”

“So, I was just completely exhausted by the whole process of making this film. And in that scene, I was acting opposite Sandra Huler, who is one of the greatest actors alive. She played the role with such beautiful emotion. There was no harshness to it. There was so much pure emotion in the way she played the role that it just overwhelmed me. I didn't have to act,” he added.
