State Assembly Elections: Voting Begins in Assam, Kerala, Puducherry.webp

April 09, New Delhi – Voting is taking place in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry for the state assembly elections, as eligible voters are turning out in large numbers to cast their votes.

In Kerala, over 27 million voters will decide the outcome for 883 candidates across 140 constituencies.

In Assam, more than 25 million voters are eligible to vote for the 126-member Legislative Assembly. There are 722 candidates contesting.

In Puducherry, 10,14,070 voters are eligible to vote to elect a 30-member Legislative Assembly.
