Ansari also said that additional LPG cylinders would be provided for wedding ceremonies and religious events in the state.
The state's Minister for Food, Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday, which was attended by district supply officers, gas agencies, and representatives of oil companies.
"In Ranchi, a total of 84,516 orders for LPG cylinder delivery are pending, while the number is 55,118 in Jamshedpur and 50,313 in Dhanbad," Ansari told reporters here.
"I have directed the relevant agencies and officials to normalize the LPG supply situation across the state within 7-10 days, and to clear all pending orders," he said.
The minister also said that strict action would be taken against agencies found guilty of negligence or delay.
"We have also decided to provide additional LPG cylinders (up to three) for wedding ceremonies and special religious events. To avail this facility, an application needs to be submitted to the district supply officer," he added.
