Programme Manager, National Health Mission, Dr. Jatinder Mehta, along with a four-member delegation from the State Health Society, Jammu and Kashmir, undertook an official visit to Kishtwar to review the status of healthcare services in the district.
During the visit, a comprehensive review meeting was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, to assess the implementation of various health programs being carried out under the mission. The meeting focused on evaluating the progress of ongoing healthcare initiatives, identifying operational challenges, and exploring measures to further strengthen healthcare service delivery across the district.
The discussions also emphasized improving healthcare infrastructure, addressing existing gaps in service delivery, and ensuring that medical facilities effectively meet the growing health needs of the local population. Officials reiterated the importance of coordinated efforts among health authorities to enhance the accessibility, efficiency, and quality of healthcare services for the people of the district.
