
Thiruvananthapuram, March 19 Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday.
In his message, Arlekar said that the festival, which marks the end of Ramadan, reflects the values of discipline and compassion that enrich our society.
"May it strengthen the spirit of unity, peace, and collective progress. Wishing everyone a Happy Eid," he said.
The CM, in his greetings, said that the month of Ramzan, which conveyed the message of sacrifice and tolerance, is coming to an end.
He said that this time reminds people to purify their minds through fasting and to strengthen mutual love and brotherhood.
"May these Eid celebrations be a source of comfort for those in sorrow and spread the light of friendship and love throughout the country," Vijayan said in his message.
Kerala Assembly Speaker A N Shamseer also extended his Eid greetings to the people of the state.
