Mumbai, April 10 – Arjun Bijlani, a well-known name in the television industry, is very clear about one thing in his career: he doesn't want to be typecast.

The actor, who starred in "Naagin," said that he doesn't want to repeat himself and wants to keep surprising his audience.

Sharing his reasoning for choosing roles, Arjun said, "I consciously choose roles that are different from what I have already done. Growth only happens when you step out of your comfort zone."

He further explained that he can easily recognize when things are becoming repetitive.

"When the scripts start feeling similar, I know it's time to take a break. I step back and wait for something fresh and challenging," Arjun added.

When asked if he is open to taking risks, Arjun emphasized that risks are crucial because they help one grow and showcase different aspects as an actor. He believes that experimenting with different roles is the only way to stay relevant and exciting for the audience.

Arjun stated that reinvention has played a major role in his career. "It's very important for me. I keep exploring new genres and characters and constantly work on improving myself," he said.

Arjun also revealed that he has turned down projects in the past. "Yes, I have turned down roles because I didn't want to become repetitive. The need to evolve pushed me to make that decision," he shared.

Aware of what the viewers expect of him, Arjun also makes sure to keep things fresh. "I respect the audience's expectations, but I also believe in surprising them. It's about balancing what they love and giving them something new," the actor concluded.

Currently, Arjun is seen in the latest season of the cooking reality show "Laughter Chefs".

His next project will be a part of the upcoming series on Netflix titled "Chumbak".
