
The Ministry of Culture and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today to develop a comprehensive strategy for the country’s cultural and creative economy. In a social media post, Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated that this agreement is a significant step towards making culture the foundation of economic prosperity. He added that it will help secure a brighter future for the country’s artists and artisans. The Minister further stated that the MoU can play a key role in gaining global recognition for cultural products and services.
