POONCH, FEBRUARY 27: The Chief Medical Officer of Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, chaired a meeting with field staff, including MPHIs, JHIs, and BHWs, to strengthen public health and preventive healthcare across the district.
Dr. Khan emphasized the importance of awareness campaigns on hygiene, sanitation, and healthy lifestyles, regular testing of drinking water sources, and timely screening for malaria and dengue to prevent seasonal disease outbreaks. He directed staff to enhance field monitoring, IEC activities, and surveillance systems to ensure community health and safety.
