Mumbai, March 23 – Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recently learned that actress and singer Sugandha Mishra had to impersonate Katrina Kaif for her first job as a radio jockey.
Speaking to Akshay Kumar and the audience, Sugandha said, "My first job was as a radio jockey. My show was a morning show, during prime time. So I was under a lot of pressure to attract more viewers and listeners. So I thought, what should I do?"
"I thought I would play a prank. I said, 'Whoever is listening to my channel right now… the one who is in the studio with me right now is Katrina Kaif, and whoever answers my questions will meet Katrina personally,'" she added.
Hearing this, everyone, including Akshay Kumar, burst into laughter. Adding to the fun story, Sugandha revealed, "My phone was ringing so much because I was only asking the question as Sugandha, and I was only answering as Katrina."
Akshay Kumar commented, "What a brilliant idea."
Continuing the conversation, she also revealed how one of the listeners called her from Punjab, asking if Katrina could also speak in Punjabi and Hindi.
Sugandha then revealed that she had told the listener, "Yes, I have learned Hindi from the song 'Gore Gore Mukhde Pe Kala Kala Chashma.'"
