Chandigarh, February 25 A senior official from the Haryana government allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the Haryana Civil Secretariat building here on Wednesday, police said.
Ganesh Arora, who was posted as a special secretary, allegedly left his office and jumped to his death.
He was rushed to the Government Multi-Speciality Hospital in Sector 16, where doctors declared him dead, police said, adding that the reason for Arora's extreme act is yet to be determined.
