Srinagar, February 27 Two CRPF personnel are alleged to have committed suicide by shooting themselves with their service rifles in the districts of Srinagar and Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, officials said.
Hari Om, a CRPF personnel stationed in a company located within the Parimpora police station in Srinagar city, is alleged to have shot himself dead with his service rifle and died on the spot.
In another incident, Manish, a CRPF personnel, allegedly shot himself with his service weapon and died at a camp in the Batapora area of the Shopian district, officials said.
The reasons behind the extreme step taken by the two personnel are yet to be determined, officials added.
