
March 13, New Delhi – The Indian team delivered an outstanding performance on Day 2 of the New Delhi 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
The highlight of the day was in the men's javelin throw, where Paralympic champion Sumit Antil led an all-Indian podium.
Antil won gold with a powerful throw of 69.25 meters, while Pushpendra Singh secured silver and Poonam Ram won bronze.
India also dominated the men's 400-meter race, with Subodh Bhatt winning gold in 51.88 seconds, followed by Priyanshu Kaushik with silver and Avnil Kumar claiming bronze.
