The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings of hot and humid conditions, with temperatures soaring across the state.
The state government has also directed that outdoor workers avoid work between 11 am and 3 pm due to the extreme weather.

Discussing her health regimen, she said she relies on hydration.
“I consume more fresh coconut water. I am also cautious about food. Most of my meals are from the homes of party workers or at the BJP office,” she said.
She added that sleep has been affected by late-night meetings, but she is managing to ensure her health is not compromised.
