Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar, inaugurated a new souvenir shop at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The shop has been established to showcase and sell selected souvenirs, books, handmade products, and other items inspired by the life and ideas of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.
The Ministry stated that these items reflect Dr. Ambedkar's message of social justice, equality, and constitutional values. During the inauguration of the souvenir shop, Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of protecting and promoting India's artistic traditions. He said that such efforts create employment opportunities for artisans and contribute to inclusive development and empowerment. He noted that the shop will attract visitors, researchers, and guests who come to the Centre for academic and cultural programs.
