Chennai, February 21 – Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has expressed his gratitude to Suriya and his wife Jyothika for sending him a gift hamper along with a congratulatory message for the success of his recently released film, 'Sarvam Maya'.
In a post on his X account, Nivin Pauly shared a picture of the gift and the message from Suriya and Jyothika, writing: "Such a thoughtful gesture from both of you...Thank you so much, @Suriya_offl sir, and #Jyotika ma'am."
It is worth noting that Suriya and Jyothika had also sent similar gifts to other members of the film's unit, including actress Riya Shibu, whose performance in director Akhil Sathyan's blockbuster film had received widespread critical acclaim.
Riya Shibu had, in fact, revealed on Wednesday that she was overjoyed to receive the gift hamper along with a congratulatory note from actor Suriya and his wife Jyothika for her performance in the Malayalam film.
Sharing images of the hamper and the congratulatory note on her social media accounts, the actress said: "Absolutely thrilled!!!! Thank you so much, @Suriya_offl sir, and #Jyothika maa!! It means so much to me that you took the time and effort to send me this hamper as a token of appreciation for my performance. Accepting this on behalf of the entire team of #SarvamMaya."
In the congratulatory note, the couple wrote: "We loved your performance in 'Sarvam Maya', Riya! It was so natural, impactful, and a joy to watch. Congratulations, and we wish you continued success and many more memorable roles ahead."
For those unfamiliar, Akhil Sathyan's 'Sarvam Maya' has been a major box office success, earning over Rs 150 crores worldwide. Interestingly, the film continued to perform well in theaters even after its release on the OTT platform.
Besides Nivin Pauly and Riya Shibu, the horror-comedy also featured Aju Varghese in a prominent role.
Akhil Sathyan, the director of the film, is the son of legendary Indian filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad, who has delivered critically acclaimed films like 'Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum'.
The music for 'Sarvam Maya' was composed by Justin Prabhakaran, and the art direction was handled by the experienced Rajeevan. The cinematography for the film was by Sharan Velayudhan Nair, who was also the cameraman for the critically acclaimed film, 'Sookshmadarshini'.
