New Delhi, March 31 Vaibhav Suryavanshi's impressive performance in his IPL 2026 opening innings, where he dominated world-class bowlers, reflects his exceptional talent and fearless approach, according to former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar.

The 15-year-old scored a 50 off just 15 balls, helping Rajasthan Royals defeat CSK on Monday.

Following his record-breaking IPL century a year ago, Suryavanshi also dominated bowlers like Matt Henry and Noor Ahmad in his electrifying innings.

"Vaibhav Suryavanshi was a class apart. He dominated a strong bowling attack. He challenged Matt Henry, a bowler who targets top batters internationally," Bangar told Star Sports.

"He also outplayed Khaleel Ahmed, who bowls with varied pace. He also got the better of Anshul Kamboj, known for his accurate length deliveries. Even Noor Ahmad, a mystery bowler, found it difficult to contain him," Bangar explained.

Bangar elaborated on what sets Suryavanshi apart.

"At the age of 15, he dominated four quality bowlers, forcing them to adapt their strategies. Henry had to bowl slower deliveries. Khaleel had to try different approaches. He put pressure on all of them. This shows that Vaibhav, with his fearless approach, is able to understand and exploit the weaknesses of experienced bowlers. I was impressed by his ability to anticipate their moves," he added.

Suryavanshi also hit two sixes each off Henry and Ahmad. His standout shot was a six over deep point off Henry.
