Four individuals have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon at a jewellery shop named Senako Alankar on Barpeta Road.
The suspects were apprehended in Goalpara on Friday night, and police interrogation is currently underway. Efforts are also being made to formally identify the detained individuals.
As part of the investigation, police are working alongside the manager of the jewellery shop, Dimple Talukdar. However, the police have not yet officially disclosed any details regarding the case.
