
The Northern Command of the Indian Army, based in Udhampur, organized a high-level "Synergy Conference" with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and the Border Security Force to enhance coordination among security forces in the face of evolving security challenges.
The conference was chaired by Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Commander-in-Chief of the Northern Command, who led discussions on aligning operational strategies, sharing field-level insights, and enhancing joint capabilities among the forces.
During the discussions, officers from the three forces reviewed security dynamics and discussed measures to improve coordination, information sharing, and operational preparedness in sensitive border regions.
Officials stated that the discussions reinforced mutual trust and collective resolve among the security agencies responsible for safeguarding national borders.
Addressing the participants, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma commended the officers for their dedication and commitment to national security. He emphasized that close coordination and synergy between the forces are essential to effectively address emerging threats and ensure a secure environment.
The conference concluded with a reaffirmation of the joint commitment of the Indian Army, ITBP, and BSF to strengthen cooperation and work collectively towards ensuring a safer and stronger India.
