
April 9, Kohima: Nagaland has qualified for the finals of the North East Cricket Development Council U-23 Women’s Interstate T20 Tournament 2026 with a dominant victory against Meghalaya today.
Batting first, Nagaland's innings was interrupted by rain, resulting in a shortened 12-over match. Despite the disruption, the team managed to score 72 runs, losing seven wickets.
In response, Meghalaya struggled to gain momentum against Nagaland's strong bowling attack and were dismissed for 51, handing Nagaland a 20-run victory.
Roma Subha delivered an impressive bowling performance, taking a hat-trick, to earn the Player of the Match award. This is her third consecutive Player of the Match award for Nagaland in this tournament.
In the second semi-final, Mizoram defeated the host, Sikkim, by 8 wickets, securing their spot in the final.
Nagaland and Mizoram will compete in the final on Saturday, April 11.
