New Delhi, February 17 – Defending champions India will aim to extend their winning streak when they face the Netherlands in their final Group A match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The Group A match will start at 7:00 PM IST.
Led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, India have already secured their spot in the Super Eight stage of the ongoing T20 World Cup after winning all three of their matches so far.
India defeated their arch-rivals Pakistan by 61 runs at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday to advance to the Super Eight.
Earlier, India began their T20 World Cup 2026 campaign with a 29-run victory over the United States of America (USA) and followed it up with a dominant 93-run win against Namibia.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands, led by Scott Edwards, have had inconsistent performances throughout the tournament. The Dutch team currently sits in fourth place with one win in three games. They have already been eliminated from the tournament and will look to end their campaign on a high note when they face India.

Pakistan vs Namibia: Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo (3:00 PM IST)
Pakistan will aim to secure their Super 8s spot when they face Namibia in their final Group A match of the T20 World Cup 2026, to be held at the Sinhalese Sports Club ground in Colombo on Wednesday.
Pakistan suffered a 61-run defeat against the defending champions, India, on Sunday. After winning the toss, Salman Agha's team restricted India to 175/7 in their 20 overs on a slow Colombo track, but their chase ended disastrously as the team was all out for 114 runs in just 18 overs.
Despite the loss, Pakistan have four points, which they earned after winning their first two matches. If they win this match or if the match is rained out, Salman Agha's side will qualify for the next stage. However, a loss would eliminate them from the tournament, with the USA, who have a better net run rate, proceeding.
Namibia is already out of contention, but this is an opportunity for them to end their campaign on a high against a Pakistan team that is low on confidence. They have zero wins in the three matches they have played so far in the tournament. The team will aim to secure their first win when they face Pakistan.
