Chennai, March 24 The ruling DMK of Tamil Nadu allocated 10 seats to its ally, DMDK, for the April 23 Assembly elections.
DMK President MK Stalin and DMDK general secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth signed an agreement at the DMK headquarters, 'Anna Arivalayam', confirming the 10 seats for the DMDK.
Following the Congress party, which has been allocated 28 seats by the DMK, the allocation for the DMDK, founded in 2005 by the late 'Captain' Vijayakanth, is the highest.
