Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu), April 10 Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday criticized AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami for targeting him personally, and said that while death is a universal experience, his (Stalin's) achievements, including his numerous welfare programs, will endure.

Reacting sharply to the comments made by the AIADMK general secretary, which sparked controversy during a recent election campaign, the Chief Minister stated that death is a natural part of life and that he (Stalin) cannot be an exception.

"Palaniswami has been highly critical of me. I want to emphasize that death is a common experience for everyone. We may all return to dust, including myself, but my programs and initiatives will remain forever. No one can erase them," Stalin, who is the president of DMK, said while addressing a rally here.
