Tamil Nadu Elections: Seeman Advocates Against Political Handouts.webp

Manachanallur (Tamil Nadu), April 4 NTK leader Seeman urged voters to reject the culture of freebies and bribery ahead of the assembly elections scheduled for April 23.

Addressing a large rally in Manachanallur, Tiruchirapalli, he criticised the 60-year dominance of major political fronts, alleging that they have turned citizens into debtors of handouts rather than providing sustainable employment.

"Politics without culture and character began the day freebies were introduced. Now, they are competing: if one gives Rs 1,000, the other gives Rs 2,000; if one gives Rs 2,000, the other gives Rs 2,500. Where are they getting this money? Why don’t we question the cost of these freebies?" Seeman said.

He emphasised that the Naam Tamilar Katchi represents the ordinary children of the soil, not political heirs or ministers, and pledged that his government would prioritise quality education, healthcare, safe drinking water, and toxin-free food as fundamental rights for all citizens.

Seeman also urged voters to support the farmer symbol, saying that while traditional parties may have won in the past, the people have consistently lost.
