
Kancheepuram (Tamil Nadu), March 30 The April 23 assembly elections in Tamil Nadu are a battle to oust AIADMK chief Palaniswami and prevent Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah from gaining influence, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said on Monday.
He stated that the upcoming election is a contest between Tamil Nadu and Delhi, and the BJP should not be allowed to succeed.
"Can we allow PM Modi and Amit Shah in Tamil Nadu?" Udhayanidhi asked at a DMK rally in Kanchipuram.
"The people will not allow it," he said.
