March 22, New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in isolated areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on Sunday.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also likely in Kerala and Mahe. Meanwhile, maximum temperatures are expected to gradually rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius across northwest India in the coming days. Squally weather conditions are also likely in the Bay of Bengal, the Gulf of Mannar, along the Kerala coast, and over Lakshadweep.
